The Diamond League is an annual series of elite track and field athletic competitions, comprising fifteen of the world’s top invitational athletics meetings. This series represents the pinnacle of the World Athletics (formerly IAAF) one-day meeting competitions.

The primary goal of the Diamond League is to “enhance the worldwide appeal of athletics by going outside Europe for the first time.” While it includes the original Golden League members (except Berlin) and other traditional European competitions, it has expanded to feature events in China, Qatar, Morocco, and the United States.

One of the notable events in the series is the Herculis, an annual track and field meet held at Stade Louis II in Fontvieille, Monaco. Formerly one of the five IAAF Super Grand Prix events, Herculis is now part of the Diamond League.
